  4. use it during my transatlantic sailing trip later this year.

  8. Nautical is an Astronavigation program complete with a built-in almanac
  9. for 1950 to 2050.  It features reduction of sights, graphical displays
  10. of the stars and a world map.  The graphic screens include constellation
  11. outlines, port locations and costal outlines.  Main options include: 
  12. taking a fix, sun & twilight (morning astronomical / nautical / civil
  13. twilight, sunrise, sunset, and evening civil / nautical /astronomical
  14. twilight), visible body calculations, time & distance, ephemeris
  15. generation, direction of sun, graphical charting and lists of 
  16. navigation stars, constellations and ports.

  22. About ten years ago when I got out of the Navy (US), I taught a course
  23. on Celestial Navigation at the University....Perhaps I will revive this
  24. course and supplement it with your program...

  37. One thing that has impressed us shipboard is the graphics display of
  38. the stars...As a stand alone Star Identifier we reckon it would be
  39. a hot seller for you amongst merchant marine navigators.
  40. I have..seen quite a few navigation programs...could become a good
  41. seller to professional navigators...from Officer in Merchant Navy
  42. with some 37 years at sea as a navigator on both merchant and RN
  43. ships.
